jordan relinquished all claims to the west bank to the plo in 1988. the occupation was deemed illegal by the u.n. at its onset; and remains so today. israel is the proud owner of over 100 u.n resolutions against it; to which it has never once paid heed... and were it not for aipac and the wealth and political clout of americans jews, israel today would be singing a different tune! the united states, so far, has been able to prevent those non-binding resolutions from being enforceable. but the fact that most of them were the result of unanimous or near unanimous votes by the general assembly(incl. the u.s.), speaks loudly against israel and its defiant disregard for international law and human rights. your simplified logic does not at all absolve israel of the crimes it has perpetuated against the palestinians; nor does it justify its settlement policy. from its inception, israel has been a rogue state that pays NO heed whatsoever to international laws and to the u.n. whose acceptance it once so desparately sought. "blame games"? why not try a bit of objective reality?
