is not apartments, but Hamas, rejectionist Arabs and the shape of air-tight security arrangements that are credible to Israel. Everybody knows the final border will be some minor modification of "Clinton" Plan; Ariel/Latrun/Adumim/Etzion blocs of Jewish towns in Israel, some land trade, Jerusalem will be Israeli capital, PA gets Abu Dis. All Arab refugees to PA state only, all Jewish refugees to Israel only(where they reside now), compensation to Arabs and Jewish refugees equally, PA state strictly demilitarized. Arabs control Temple Mount surface, Jews control land beneath and Wall. Arab State and Jewish State mutually recognize one another w. peace treaty. #1 OBSTACLE is removing rejectionist Hamas from Gaza - who reject ever recognizing Israel. Just as Germany had to be forcibly deNazified before independence was restored in 1953, or no deal. For security in smaller ill-defended borders, Israel will demand a credible, multi-Trillion dollar air-missile defense. Not paper promises.
