Mark, if I were Lebanese, I imagine I would be furious that these fanatics chose to poke a stick in a hornets nest, assuming the hornets were no match for their Godly, powerful, righteous selves. Mr. Nasrallah really doesn't seem to give two farts about how many Lebanese civillians die. True, Israel was waiting for a pretext to attack; but it is understandable why they didn't want to sit idly by while Hizbollah dug in and acquired more sophisticated weapons. The nature of the Israeli response did demonstrate a grave indifference to civilian lives, regardless of what Israel "could have done" and regardless of how many leaflets were dropped. A great deal of blame to go around in this sorry situation, although it seems like 98 per cent of 'Talk Back' responders see it all as black or white.
