1000 prisoners to 1 abducted soldier. This ratio was first seen as a generous offer. But when u think well about it, this swap offer takes u to a reality, to an ugly truth: There is one abducted soldier in captivity but there are thousands of prisoners who are kept in israeli prisons with probably baseless indictments. Otherwise it wouldnt be so easy to make such a gracious offer. After a prospect swap, IDF is likely to collect those people from the streets once again. I hope that i am wrong.
