... Roger Cohen is very slick when he selectively quotes an Israeli cabinet member as being against a two-state solution and therefore considers this as "proof" that the Israeli government (read Netanyahu) is disingenuous -- notwithstanding other Israeli cabinet members like Tzipni Livni who are outspoken in favor. But Roger Cohen doesn't feel the need to also quote senior Fatah officials who blatantly say that their strategy is still to ultimately destroy Israel in English and/or Arabic. Why aren't these quotes proof of Palestinian disingenuousness to Roger? Roger Cohen is either clueless, willfully deceitful at Israel's expense (the old story of a Jewish Leftist sacrificing his people for a "larger" ideology -- 80 years ago it was Communism; today it's post-national supposedly progressive multiculturalism (the Jews get the post-nationalism, the Arabs and everyone else get to continue on their merry way), or simply a buffoon. None of these choices says much for him.
