How is this poorly-written semi-literate scrawl related to the article? Regardless of whether or not one agrees with him, Gideon Levy is a writer of quality, something that is sadly lacking in Israel these days. He raises issues for debate, which surely can only be a good thing. Personally, I am in two minds about the sonic booms. My house was rattling away a couple of weeks ago. Do these bangs actually hurt anyone? Are they a waste of kerosene? Are these tactics a precursor to something more sinister? Is it all being taken far too seriously? Why can't we all just pass around a big joint....?
