SAM: "The gap would close suddenly if the Palestinians would accept 2 countries for 2 nations." The two (supposed) negotiating partners happen to be: 1) The head of the PLO 2) The head of Likud The head of the PLO accepted "2 countries for 2 nations" in a letter to the Prime Minister of Israel in 1993 (without a reciprocal "acceptance", I'll point out). The head of Likud finally accepted "2 countries for 2 nations" in...... 2009, and there is not a single person who heard that speech who believed he meant it. Or, in short: it took a further 15 years to DRAG from Netanyahu's lips the same "acceptance" that was given by Arafat in 1993, and yet YOU have the chutzpah to attempt to reverse history.
