Woman from southern Israel suspected of stabbing her 3 children to death
Police arrest Rahat woman on suspicion she stabbed her three children - aged 8, 4 and one month - to death in their home; a fourth child, one year old, was admitted to the hospital with light injuries.
Three children from the same family were stabbed to death and one critically wounded on Wednesday in their home in Rahat. Police arrested the mother on suspicion of committing the crime.
Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the home found two children, 4 and 8 without a pulse. Their one-month old infant brother was brought to the local clinic and declared dead upon arrival. Another one-year old infant was taken to Soroka Hospital with light injuries.
Last July 2011, an Israeli man, Itai Ben Dror was served with three life sentences by the Petah Tikva District court after being convicted of murdering his three young children. Ben Dror paid his ex-wife and mother of the children Lilach Shem-Tov, NIS half a million in compensation. Judge Avraham Tal sentenced him to a life sentence for each count of murder.
Last year, a court found Ronny Ron guilty of the 2008 murder his 4-year old granddaughter Rose Pizam. His domestic partner and the girl’s mother Marie Renault Pizam was found guilt of soliciting the murder.
