Amid an ongoing public relations war surrounding the Israel Navy's deadly raid of a Gaza-bound humanitarian aid flotilla earlier this week, the Israel Defense Forces on Wednesday released two more videos depicting the activists attacking commandos who stormed the ship.

The first video depicts passengers on the Turkish-flagged Mavi Marmara hurling stun grenades and boxes and spraying water at the commandos as they lowered themselves onto the ship.

The activists are seen armed with iron bars and batons which they readily use against the soldiers.

The second video released by the IDF depicts the events as captured by the ship's security cameras on the Turkish-flagged Mavi Marmara.

The footage shows the activists wearing gas masks, waving metal rods and broken glass bottles in the air in preparation for their encounter with the Navy commandos.

Since the raid of the ship and the ensuing international criticism, Israel has released a number of videos to show the military's version of the story – that the soldiers shot and killed the nine activists in acts of self-defense.
