Two wounded by pick-axe wielding man in suspected terror attack in Be'er Sheva
Man moderately to seriously hurt, another wounded lightly, after man attacks them with an ax near the Be’er Sheva municipality building; police have yet to identify attacker.
A man was left in moderate to serious condition on Monday after another man stabbed him with a pick-axe near the city municipality building in Be'er Sheva. Another man was lightly hurt in the same incident, after being sprayed with tear gas at close range to his face.
Police say that the attack had nationalistic motives. They are currently trying to identify the attacker, who dropped the pick-axe at the scene of the crime.
According to witnesses who were near the scene of the crime, the man who was stabbed had been standing outside Be'er Sheva's municipality building, waiting for his wife who was inside.
