TAU prof. to replace Mofaz as Knesset Member
Dan Ben-David, an economist, will replace Shaul Mofaz as Knesset Member if Mofaz turns his "time-out" from politics into a full exit.
Ben-David, an economist from Tel Aviv University, is currently number 34 on the Kadima list.
Ben-David, 51, received his PhD from the University of Chicago. He specializes in macroeconomics, economic growth, international trade, and the link between education and the economy. He is considered an expert on welfare issues and was part of the drafting team for Kadima's socioeconomic platform for the 2006 elections.
