Obama views collection of ancient artifacts from Israel
Franklin Institute exhibit includes 20 scrolls, including oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible.
During a trip to Philadelphia on Tuesday, U.S. President Barack Obama visited The Franklin Institute's exhibit, Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times, which is a collection of ancient artifacts from Israel.
The exhibit has 20 scrolls, including the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible and four never-before-seen scrolls, according to an Obama for America press release.
On Wednesday, Obama will present Israeli President Shimon Peres with the Medal of Freedom, America's highest civilian honor.
