More than 1,700 managers, executives and analysts have registered to attend the TheMarker and Brightman-Almagor's annual Capital Market conference on Sunday.

The conference, taking place at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv, will begin with a lecture by Eitan Wertheimer about how Iscar was sold to Warren Buffett for $4 billion, for an 80% interest. His speech will be followed by a questions and answers session.

Editor in chief Guy Rolnik, and editors Eytan Avriel, Meirav Arlosoroff and Anat Georgy will be hosting five panels, on the hot-button issues of executive pay, the marketing front in the capital market, the real estate market, and the outlook for the stock market given the upheavals in emerging markets.

Yadin Antebi, the Capital Markets commissioner at the Finance Ministry, will take part in the discussions, as will managers from Israel's leading insurance companies, real estate firms, investment management companies and experts on marketing financial instruments.
