A Kenyan woman has named her newborn twin boys after U.S. President Barack Obama and his defeated elections' rival Mitt Romney, the Standard newspaper in Nairobi reported on Thursday.

Millicent Owuor, 20, delivered her twins at a hospital in Siaya on the day Obama was re-elected.The hospital is in an eastern district close to Kogelo, the ancestral village of the U.S. president's father. Obama's grandmother still lives in the East African country.

After Obama was elected to his first term in 2008, several mothers in Kenya and the U.S. repoterdly named their children after him as well as his wife, first lady Michelle Obama.
