Israeli killed, 10 injured in Jordan traffic accident
Foreign ministry preparing to repatriate Israelis hospitalized Jordan after bus crashes into two provate cars.
An Israeli was killed and ten were injured Thursday in a traffic accident in Jordan, Magen David Adom rescue services reported.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred when a bus crashed into two vehicles. It was not unclear whether the Israelis were in the bus or in the private cars.
Magen David Adom told Channel 10 News that two people suffered serious injuries and that all the victims were all hospitalized Jordanian hospitals.
The foreign ministry said late Thursday that it was preparing to transfer the injured to Israeli hospitals within the next few hours.
The crash was the second serious road incident to hit Israel in hours. Earlier in the evening, a man was killed and 12 hurt when a truck driver deliberately drove into a crowd at a bus station in Acre.
