Israel's annual security exhibition returns to Tel Aviv
The Israel Defense Exhibition expects some 150 exhibitors and roughly 8,000 guests from 70 countries at this year's event to provide at glimpse of the latest defense-related products.
Israel's Annual Home Land Security Exhibition is back again for another year, providing a glimpse of the most up-to-date security-related products, technological developments and innovations.
The Israel Defense Exhibition (ISDEF) will host this year's exhibition at at the Israel Trade Fairs and Convention Center in Tel Aviv, October 31-November 2.
Now in its fifth year, the ISDEF will feature various members of the intelligence community and military officials such as the Minister of Home Front Defense, Major General (ret.) Matan Vilnai and Major General of Home Front Command, Eyal Eisenberg.
At last year's event, more than 90 defense manufacturing companies exhibited their products to the more than 5,000 attendees, 1,500 of them from abroad, representing 45 countries.
ISDEF has grown annually by more than 30 percent and this year expects 150 exhibitors and roughly 8,000 guests from 70 countries.
Exhibits in previous years featured a variety of anti-terror systems, remote minesweepers, friendly-fire protection that utilizes infra-red protection technology positioned in a soldier's helmet, and even an unmanned, robot helicopter drone called the "Black Eagle 50."
The ISDEF Exhibition is the leading defense event in the Israeli defense industry with some of the most cutting edge research and developments from Israel and abroad.
Tomer Avnon, President of the Israel Defense Exhibition, hopes to rally major players on a local and international level into this unique forum of Defense and Homeland Security not only in order to initiate business but also to facilitate future connection and collaboration.
The Trade Fairs Center is off of Rokah Blvd and run 9:30-18:00 on October 31, and 9:00-18:00 on November 1-2.
