At least 20 hurt as two buses collide head-on in Nazareth
Accident comes less than 24 hours after a woman was killed in another bus collision near Be'er Sheva.
At least 20 people were injured in a head-on collision between two city buses in Nazareth on Thursday, second major bus-related accident within 24 hours.
One man was moderately to seriously injured in the collision, according to initial reports. The other casualties suffered light injuries.
Rescue crews and Magen David Adom paramedic units arrived at the scene soon after the accident and began treating and evacuating the injured.
Less than a day earlier, a 25-year-old woman was killed and 15 other people injured in a chain reaction involving two private vehicles and a bus at the Tlalim Junction near Be'er Sheva.
Earlier Wednesday, six people - including two children - were lightly injured after two cars collided in the Lehavim-Shoket Junction north of Be'er Sheva.
