Capturing day-to-day life in Israel
In 'Turning Point,' Haaretz photographer Daniel Tchetchik tries to capture fragments of reality from an Israel in the midst of change.
Daniel Tchetchik, an Haaretz photographer since 2003, worked from 2008 to 2013 on a photo series that sought to capture the day-to-day life in Israel.
"I tried to capture a few fragments of reality that reflect the complexities that arise and intensify in this country during a period of change," Tchetchik said of the 'Turning Point' project.
Over the years, Tchetchik's work was displayed in top Israeli museums and in a number of exhibitions abroad.
Tchetchik won various awards at the Israeli "Local Testimony" photography contest between 2007 and 2012.
