Israel's alternate reality
Married, father of three, works for a programming company; 54-year-old Gabi Ben Avraham won't give up on his greatest passion – street photography.
Reality is a never-ending rush of events. The camera makes it possible for the photographer to freeze the moment, to isolate it, and to take it out of context.
The alternate reality is the same moment, but only as it occurred in the imagination of the creator – the photographer – and he invites the viewer to share that reality. It is this reality that will remain in the photographic memory of the viewer.
