The second day of J Street's National Summit in San Francisco was set to begin at 6:45 P.M. Sunday (8:45 A.M. local time).
On the first day of the conference, which aims to demonstrate the scope of American support for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, former Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad, former Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gabriella Shalev and former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Kurtzer discussed Middle East diplomacy.
Other speakers at the conference include Rabbi Sharon Brous, the founding rabbi of Ikar; Prof. David Myers from the Department of History, UCLA; MK Merav Michaeli (Labor); Representative Jackie Speier (D-CA); Kenneth Bob, J Street Board of Directors and National President of Ameinu; Debra DeLee, President and CEO, Americans for Peace Now; and Daniel Sokatch, CEO of New Israel Fund, among others.
The summit marks the organization's first national event on the West Coast of the United States.
