Trump heiress celebrates Sukkot in style
Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner take two-month old daughter Arabella to temple for Sukkot, with Kushner carrying the family’s lulav while walking down the streets of Manhattan.
Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner celebrated Sukkot in style this year, taking their two-month old daughter Arabella to lunch in New York City and then to their temple to celebrate the Jewish harvest holiday, celebrity news sites reported.
The couple was photographed walking down the streets of Manhattan, with Kushner pushing a stroller and holding what the Daily Mail said were “some flowers in one hand – perhaps a gift for his wife.”
These “flowers” were none other than the makings of a lulav, the symbolic arrangement of leaves and branches used on Sukkot.
The billionaire heiress and former model converted to Judaism before her wedding to Kushner, publisher of the New York Observer, in 2009. The couple was wed by an Orthodox rabbi, Haskel Lookstein, who coached Trump through her yearlong conversion.
