The headline distorts history. All the people mentioned left their countries. We don't know how many fled. "Left" would have been less emotional and more precise.

This article reminded me to Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five which was a New York based Hip Hop Group. At the end of their world-famous masterpiece called "The Message", the guys are hanging out at a street corner as suddenly a police-car shows up and arrests everyone for no reason .. If you listen carefully, you notice one person say "Check out Cuba" at the beginning of the snippet. A few seconds later, closer to the end, the policemen are pushing the guys into the car and one of them is saying "Get in the Gas, i said .." Listen to the snippet a couple of times. I always said that all Jews left the Arab countries voluntarily and formally and they were never pushed and thrown out by force. They did sign official declarations to drop their citizenship and leave the country by planes to Cyprus and by boat to Israel. Many Israelis (trouble makers) say that all Jews in Arab countries were thrown out of their country because they are Jews.

If Israel's pro-Cuba PR keeps going, then our pro-Israel Congress and cornered President will have to lift it finally, despite the Cuban exiles' local political influence and opposition in Florida.

After the Holocaust, only two countries in the world accepted Jewish refugees without reservations, limitations, or quotas: Italy and Cuba!! The US put strict quotas; the Brits in all their Anglican glory continued to order ships carrying Jewish refugees sunk killing thousands that managed to survive the camps; France only accepted those that could prove French heritage; and the Swiss were always willing to accept anything for a price.
