Los Angeles launches probe after vandals spray swastikas on Malibu Jewish center
L.A police launched investigation but no suspects have been arrested as of yet.
By Haaretz Service Tags: Gaza Israel news anti-SemitismThe Los Angeles Times has reported that vandals used shaving cream to paint swastikas on a Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue, and shattered one of its windows last Thursday.
Los Angeles County Sheriff?s Lieutenant Andrew Rosso indicated that one of the employees in the center discovered the damage on Friday morning. The agency's hate crimes unit has launched investigation, but no suspects have been arrested as of yet according to the L.A Times.
Since Israel's offensive in Gaza was launched 22 days ago there has been a noted rise in anti-Semitic incidents across Europe.
On Saturday night Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced Israel's unilateral cease-fire, which was followed by the Hamas' and it's affiliated factions cease-fire some 12 hours later.
