Exotic new Hanukkiahs unveiled ahead of ancient festival of light

For Hanukkah in 2008, Israelis are being offered an array of exotic new Hanukkiahs with which to celebrate the ancient festival of light.

The up-market Ramat Aviv mall is set to display a wide variety of the nine-branched candelabra in an exhibition that will open on Sunday.

Meanwhile, children at an Or Yehuda kindergarten this week showed that it was still possible to fulfill the commandment of lighting a Hannukiah in a less expensive and more conventional manner.
