Wiesel and Sharansky: The triumph of Soviet Jewry, the tragedy of a battle forgotten

These men spoke for 45 minutes and said not a word about African asylum seekers or Palestinians, but only of the human rights of Jews. At one point, Weisel even said that he got involved in the struggle for Soviet Jewry because as a Jew he cares about Jews, not all human beings. It was depressing but unsurprising.
