It matters not what the minority Jewish community thinks about Hagel as
it pertains to Israel. Hagel works for the U.S.A and is duty bound to
place Americas interests as his priority and NOT Israels.
is a fringe group, who's views are controversial and not widely
respected in America.
AIPAC has around 100,000 members. CUFI has over a million. Hardly
"fringe". Israel is overwhelmingly supported by Americans, and
most of them are Christians.
Do we now have to get Israeli approval to confirm Hagel´s appointment?
Israel must maintain the upper hand with the foreign powers. Public
expressions of cooperation with the aims of Israel cement policy. Israel
is a small country that maintains itself by the control of others. Look
through your history books for other nations that survived through the
policies of others.. Example: Byzantium
Is far too costly and is not appreciated by Israel if we look at Israels
responses to the American govt recently. Israel cannot survive without
money and support from America. This does not mean Israel can conduct
itself in violation of agreements and International Law. It does not
mean it can control others beyond its declared and recognised sovereign
borders to the point of abusing and oppressing another people and taking
their land. That is not a plan for survival it is a plan for its
eventual destruction when all its bad seeds planted reap their harvest.
