A Muslim couple arrested for plotting to execute a terror attack with homemade bombs in a Jewish area of Manchester, nothern England, will be sentenced on Friday, the U.K.'s Daily Mail reported on Thursday.

According to the Daily Mail report, Shasta Khan, 38, and her husband Mohammed Sajid Khan, 33, planned to use household items to create a makeshift explosive device. Their plans were foiled in July last year when police were called to the couple’s home following reports of a domestic disturbance, the Daily Mail reported.

Police found various household chemicals which could be used to make an explosive, as well as an article from an Al-Qaida magazine, entitled "Make a bomb in the kitchen of your Mom," according to the Daily Mail.

Mrs. Khan originally told police and the courts that she had no involvement in her husband’s plot, but a jury decided she also took part, the Daily Mail reported.

The couple met on the Single Muslim dating website, according to the report.
