A report by the Church of Scotland, published this week, denies any special privilege for the Jewish people in the land of Israel.

The Jewish people had after many long and bloody negotiations and event
a specific part of Palistina. Not by God, but by the international
community. The country was not empty but populated by non-Jews is a
problem not yet solved.
For your information there have been Jews that have never left the land
after the great dispersion beginning after the great revolt from AD
66-70 then again after the bar-Kokhba revolt 132-36. From the late
1840s the overall majority of Jerusalemites were the Jews who
outnumbered both Christian and Muslims. If you are talking specifics
concerning Palestine, and the Palestinian people when was there any king
of Palestine? what was the capital of Palestine, what was the currency
Good. All the maps I saw as a child showed the area the
"Jews" are trying to claim as Palestine. Palestine for the
Palestinians! (I'm not Palestinian)
The discussion is only 70 years out of date. Israel is an economic power
and a regional super power. A vibrant democracy and home to the Jews.
The Jews that have been kicked around, garroted, ghettoised by
Christians and then gassed. The days when you kick Jews for free are
long gone. Just remind me where is Scotland?
It was the name given by the Romans to Judea as an aftermath of the
Romans' victory over the Jews: the intent was to erase the memory of the
Jewish state (Judea). The Romans chose the name for its root
"Philistine"--an ancient sea-faring people that had nothing to
do with present-day "Palestiinian" Arabs (who started calling
themselves "Palestinians" only after the 1967 war.)
So, what exactly entitles Scots to Scotland ? Church of Scotland should
have issues that paper prior to Independence Referendum.
Europeans are not indigenous, but Jews are...check recent genetic studies....
Dear Folks, This a prediction by someone who strongly believes that
this prediction is true in some strange way. No proof and no arguments.
Here is the Prediction : Your Messiah has arrived (Jeane Dixon
predicted that a child born on Feb 5, 1962 would revolutionize this
world. He was born somewhere in Afghanistan/India, he belongs to your
lost tribes. He made a big move in July 1999 (as Nostradamus predicted:
King of Terror would come from Skies to bring back memories of genghis
khan in JUly 1999) . Just wanted to pass this prediction on to you. Fod
for thought. !!
Sounds interesting. Born in 1962...., well Jews occupied the old city
in 1967 soon after his birth. Well lets see.
Jews have zero right to move in and steal Palestine.
thanks for that, I'm glad to hear that according to your whim me and my
family must leave our country - where to now? Germany? Poland? Maybe
they will let me be a jew in Iraq or Syria.
Who says Israel has no right to the land? Scotland Church!!! Read
Jules Verne and Marco Pollo. Yes. In addition to historical research.
98% of those claiming to be "Jews" have no Hebrew blood, but
are descended of the Khazars Rome employed to impale tens of thousands
for twice denying Caesar's "divinity," set up as Ersatz
Judaism's "controlled opposition" to legitimize the "New
Testament" fabricated by the "cult of male prostitutes"
Jehoshaphat ejected from Jerusalem in the "Book of Kings," and
now practice Talmudism, not Judaism. Only the Creator of the universe
is G-d Almighty, and only America fits Isaiah's enumerated stipulations
and signs by which Zion can be fulfilled. KhazarRothschild's satanic
racist tribalists will "tend" to disagree, but G-d is not mocked.
You can keep telling yourself this "nice" story
("fairytale" would be more like it), but the problem is that
EVIDENCE (yes yes, the pesky evidence again) shows the opposite! Genetic
tests have shown that Jews from different parts of the world are more
closely related to one another then to the non-Jewish populations they
lived in. These tests also showed that they are descendant from people
from the Levant and not of Turkish origin (the Khazars were of Turkish
descent!). Only 30% of European Jews show traces of some possible
Turkish descent, meaning that the MAJORITY of European Jews are
descendants of people originating from the Middle East. But you don't
care about facts, right?
38% if Palestinians, and comparable percentages of Mizrahim and
Sephardi,m also have teh ancient Jewish (J1 haplotype) also have it.
But, only 16% of Ashkenazim have the ancient Jewish DNA, This per the
Human Genome Project, and also genetics work done at UCLA with an
eminent Jewish geneticist. It is partly on those projects that the
latest theory is that Ashkenazim converted 6-8 centuries LATER. In
addition, it appears that older genetic "studies" were often
commissioned by zionist orgs, with agreed upon outcomes. But, the MOST
interesting findings indicate that the native people with the GREATEST
concentration of ancientt Jewish DNA are the Yemeni (76%). So the
i=migration progression for the descendants of the descendants fo the
ancient Jews is that quit a lot of them never left Palestine. Of those
who did, most of them went to what is now Yemen.
Hello Melissa, The numbers you are citing are correct, but your
interpretation is wrong. You fail to mention that J1 haplotype is almost
non-existent in Europe! Therefore, the mere existence of it in European
Jews in these percentages (that are only 50% of the percentage seen in
Sepharadi Jews and Palestinians shows the Middle-Eastern origin European
Jews. BTW, even Turks and Kurds show a lower percentage. The European
Jews percentage is very similar to those of Lebanese & Druz. The
same works you cite come to the conclusion that the worldwide Jewish
population shows genetic signs of a Middle-Eastern origin. “...
But, the MOST interesting findings indicate that the native people with
the GREATEST concentration of ancientt Jewish DNA are the Yemeni (76%)
...” - Taking into account that studies (Shen et al. 2004, Hammer
et al. 2000) show that Yemenite Jews have similar parental genes as
other Jewish populations, this just strengthens the claim of a
Middle-Eastern origin of Jews worldwide. “... Of those who did,
most of them went to what is now Yemen ...” - Based on Shen et al.
(2004) and Hammer et al. (2000) it seems that not all of them, and those
that didn't ended up also in Europe and founded the Jewish communities
there. All in all, genetic tests find time after time that Jews
worldwide, including European-Jews, are more closely related to one
another and to other Middle-Eastern people then to the non-Jewish people
they lived among. “... In addition, it appears that older genetic
"studies" were often commissioned by zionist orgs, with agreed
upon outcomes ...” - Yeah right, it's all a Zionist plot, as long
as the results don't match the results you decided in advance will be
acceptable by you, right?
Shocking, in that it attacks the root lie of Jewish supremacist claims
to have a right to steal the land of the Palestinians.
It is hardly shocking that people of religion agree that the natives of
a country should not be exiled from their homeland by invaders whose
claim for the land is based on the fact that people of the same religion
used to live there.
Their god was born in Palestine, and the religion codified in Turkey.
How about Scientologists? Do they get California? What, in YOUR option,
religions do and do mot deserve to displace the indigenes of other
This kind of religious fanaticism being directed against Jews in order
to undermine Zionism is abhorrent. It's thinly veiled pretext for
sympathizing with Palestinians who claim that the Jewish people aren't a
people and that in actuality Palestinians are Jews.
As someone who is half Scottish and half Jewish, I'll refer to the old
joke about MacDonald and Goldfarb who met one day along the banks of
the Clyde. They looked at each other, then at the water, and each bet
the other a penney to jump into the river and see who could stay under
water the longest. They both drowned. In this latest kerfuffle, both
sides have understandable positions, and don't pin antisemitism on the
Scots, please. They've been pretty good to us Jews.
What do you mean your half Scottish/half Jewish? Doesn't make sense.
You have two parents? if only one is Scottish, your Jewish half is
your religion, NOT your nationality, you're either a Scottish Jew or not
at all. My father is Scottish, my mother was English, am not half/half,
I was born in England unfortunately, so am English, christened Cof E.
The church of Scotland should be re-named the Church of Satan for
holding such biased views on Judaism.
As a Gentile believer in the Jewish Messiah, Jesus, I categorically
reject this church's ruling. It is not in accordance with Scripture (See
Gen. 15, Jer. 31 etc) and if God has forsaken all of his promises with
Israel, what hope is there for the individual who holds on to God's
promise of salvation?
This is a non-story. The new testament gospels were selected from dozens
of candidates at the meeting of Nicea under the emperor Constantine. The
old testament/Torah (as an archaeological artifact) was written by at
least four different authors (not Moses as we are supposed to believe)
both has a political purpose at the time. In neither case is there any
reason why an actual real-world claim can be made. Scottish Christians
have no right to criticize Judaism based on Christian doctrine - but
then neither does anyone have any 'right' to land based on a religious
right is ANY particular piece of land on the planet. That being said--
Israel has the right to exist within her legal and self-declared
boundaries. She has never annexed a centimeter more land, and land
seizure by right of conquest has been a war crime since 1949. Them's
the facts! Nothing "the Arabs did" has any effect on anything
that Israel ratified.
Jews have no right to simply decide and steal and then ratify that theft.
and buried in the vaults of their churches.
You're looking in the wrong place; those treasures are buried in the
Emerald City of Oz.
All three should go to the ICC/
Eh, the Crusaders were ENGLISH, there's no artefacts belonging to
Jerusalem in Scottish churches, we don't fawn over relics.
read it, and it's no surprise, what the Church of Scotland "hath
decreed" Then again when Begin was asked about the Reality of the
Jewish People he said "the Eternity of Israel will never be
betrayed". Assumng Rashi was right, I'd have to go with Begin, as well.
Well-we'll all have to give up drinking the good single malts
This is an apostate church which follows a false doctrine of replacement
theology- replacing Israel with the church( at large)
For almost 200 years ago, my mother's grandfather come from a farm, that
does not exist today. Have I and my family the right to that land area
to day? The Jews who lived in eg. Hebron since 4000 years has a right to
the land they cultivated. But after having lived outside Hebron in say
2,000 years, coming and demand ownership of a tract of land depending on
the story of Abraham and his covenant with God. It's a bit too much. And
simultaneously believe that the people who lived there over the past
200-300 years would not have the right to continue living there.
Probably many of today's Palestinians are former Jews that some time
during the course of history converted to Islam. The arabs are also
circumcised and relatives of Abraham through his son Ishmael as he also
circumcised on God's call. Probably because his two sons and their
relatives would have the some right to the Biblical Israel. If one is to
take old stories as today's truth.
The Church of Scotland has very little influence, even in Scotland. Mind
you, this time they've got a point.
I note that the headline is incorrect (presumably delibratly) and
inflammatory. It should read: Church of Scotland: Jews do not have an
exclusive right to the land of Israel
No one is going anywhere.
Nobody has special privileges to any land. There are no first class and
second class people in the world.
you should then be against any land-right to "Palestinians".As
you said :Nobody has special privileges to any land. The Church of
Scotland should declare: Scots do not have a right to the land of
Scotland;any nation should not have the right to "its
land".Why discrimiate only Jews? you should protest against God who
said:Genesis 12 The Call of Abram 12 The Lord had said to Abram,
“Go from your country, your people and your father’s
household to the land I will show you. 2 “I will make you into a
great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.[a] 3 I will bless those who bless you,
and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be
blessed through you
Well, there shouldn't be - but we know what the reality is in Israel,
In Israel there certainly are.
"Are you a Jooo?" "You killed Christ". "Why
don't you go back home?" (to Israel) "Hey, Jew boy"
"Greedy Jew", etc which is bad enough without the,
"Paki", "Darkie" leveled at Asians. land of
"Finyans" and "Proddies" who despise each other, a
mini Northern Ireland caught in a time warp. Don't get me wrong, outside
of Religion and Racial bigotry they are on the whole a wonderful,
gregarious people. Ironically, they hate to see the little poor guy
downtrodden, so they have no problem identifying with the Palestinian
removed forcibly from their land.
Jesus was a Jew, the last supper was actually the Pessach seder and in
the time of Jesus Judea belonged to the Jews and that would have been
something he believed and accepted. If your own holy icon was Jewish and
had a right to Israel then how come its not the case with Jews today?
I have read the report but it is not clear to me what the objection is
to it from some members of the Jewish community in Scotland ?is it
simply a difference of opinion :the church believing that scripture is
not proper authority for a land grab while the members of the Jewish
believe that the Scriptures are the basis for Jewish exclusive control
of the land?
o.k ' can we come and live in scotland? will they kindly host us, i wish
they kept in mind that jesues was jewish when he lived and died
By what perverse laws were Jews given the right to banish Palestinians
from their homes? This is an injustice that has yet to be put right.
Well done to the Church of Scotland.
No he is not. And historically, all our ancestors come from Africa. Do
I have the right to move to Africa and take someone's home by force
because my ancestors lived there some time ago - frankly 50000 or 3000
years are both absurd as far as claiming ownership. Also, the Americans
should leave America where native americans lived for thousands of years
and thus it is their land. Where do you draw the line?
Peter, I am only being nice because I am in that mood. If you would be
Jewish and visit the land of Israel the first thing that you would
notice are the archaelogical remains of Jewish civilization. Every
traveler including Mark Twain noticed that. No on can walk on that land
and not be moved by its history. The land was the basis on which the
entire antiquities of the Jewish people are based on. Without the land
Judiasm is rudderless, take the diaspora for example. A slow death and
decline for Jews over two millenia. In Israel, millions of Jews,
growth, vitality and freedom. Would I deny that Britain is where the
British people have their history or where Germany is for Germans, or
Japan for Japanese. Going back to Africa before the dawn of
civilization is an imprudent analogy. We are talking about property
from the beginnings of civilization not from where man is from. Is
Greece not for Greeks?
Australia to the equation
Isnt much of religion, in essence, political?
No Israeli has genetic to Biblical Israelites. The fraud has been
exposed over and over again.
The percentage is a bit higher in Mizrahi and Sephardic Jews.
time to act against such anti semetic statement by public institution
may be we jews should evict them from our land as Jesus is their lord
and he is a Jew. Curse the church of scotland will be for hating their
god jesus christ a real jew
They have no right to Scotland. It was taken by them by force of arms
many years ago-that does not give them legal title to the land. Nor do
the Normans, from France have a right to the hills we call Scotland. It
is time the People took back their natural inheritance and rid the Isle
of these usurpers!
I am Scottish and Jewish by heritage, and I think this is an absolutely
Please enlighten us with your wisdom...
No one has special privileges. Look what happened to the American
Indian. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all have a connection, but not
a ownership, to Palestine. Jerusalem is revered and belongs to All. Salaam/Shalom
How ironic since Jews lived and settled on the British Isles long before
Utter rubbish, how did they get here? Why would they want to stay here
is more to the point.
Christians are just confused Jews
Israel's treatment of the Palestinians under its control has given quasi
legit for some to issue anti Semite statements under the guise of being
anti Israeli. It is now OK to saying anything about Israel that on the
face of it is criticising Israel, but in reality is pure anti-Semitic.
Scotland is part of the UK. This same UK's Parliament in London has a
Jewish speaker of the house, the leader of the opposition is Jewish.
Having done an extensive search I can not find any of the major news
websites reporting this. Only Jewish, and some Arab sites with glee no
doubt. Haaretz stop making mountains out of mole hills you are only
flaming the flames of those who wish to destroy us.
The Jewish people bought the land now Israel. The Jewish people built
the land now Israel. The Jewish people are attacked and villified by its
neighbours, Nevertheless they have created a vibrant and rich society
economically, politically, culturally and in every way you can imagine.
Yet the ignoramuses still deny it legitimacy. Damn Sxotland. May they
forever be under the English thumb. That is true justice.
Both of those statements are true, but both are ancient history and have
no relevance with the world of today.
We don't need look back about four thousand years. In the beginning
there was no Problems, till the brit's and france start pulling there
fingers around. Read the history well, and then talk. Israel was not
going to fight against any one, Israel tried to defence him self every
time. So it's simply, the british wants no peace for Israel. As they did
before. Go to Ako and see the prison for Jew underground fighters. The
british gave their support every time to the arabs, never to Jews!!
Especially when solely supporting the Pals and calling for a boycot of
Israel. This decision is a lithmus test for the anti semitic level of
the Scots, the Scotish church and the talkbackers! None past the test!!
Including Haaretz who claims under freedom of speech they can place anti
semitic talk backs
It is just plain racism to say you own something because of what race or
religion you are. Ownership comes from direct inheritance or purchase.
Never from theft. Jews have a right to claim a special cultural link to
Israel because their religion came from there. But that does not confer
i agree 100% with it.
Finally, someone has the Gutts to speak up the truth.
The entire Torah was written by Jews, such as EZRA HASOFER, who were
exiled to Babel and simply wanted to return to old Homeland in Israel
and Judea. so they wrote this (in Genesis 15) : "In the same day
the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying >>> Unto thy seed
have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river,
the river Euphrates. (and to you I give the right to eliminate) the
Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, and the Hittites, and
the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites,
and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites."
Juts another "goyim cult"
my family fought and died for Scotland i am now ashamed to say i am
Scottish i never liked the church now i hate all of them. Thanks to islam
and christianity i am now the whirlwind that you have reaped.
Untill recently, the church attended the spiritual needs of their
adherants. Now the spiraturaly enept clergy play politics to feed their
The Church of Scotland has done what even the Vatican has not done
publicly: to go public with a judgment on the claims of Zionism to a
biblical right to the exclusive ownership of the land of Palestine by
Jews. This is no small matter because Israel's ideological foundation
rests on this claim. I know of no other Christian religious body that
presents such a serious challenge to the Zionist world view. It should
be remembered, however, that throughout the late 19th and early 20th
century the majority of European rabbis were rejecting Zionism's
nationalistic outlook which they considered dangerous for Judaism. It
seems to me that most Christian theologians will concur with the Church
of Scotland's position. On the other hand because of the political
consequences of such a viewpoint some will claim that the Church of
Scotland is injecting politics into its religious views.
Once an anti-semite always an anti-semite. It's time to give Scotland
back to the English. If we have no special right to our land, Israel,
which we have lived in for 4000 years, what rights do the Scots have.
Their church is founded on our religion and a belief that one of us, a
Jew, is their savior.
Jews hold to the Old Covenant. Jesus literally was the New Covenant.
Methinks you want to have your cake and eat it too.
You are just moking the scots with the "savior". You do not
believe in the savior. I don't know if you are a true member of the
children of israel. Because they are the only jews who have a right to
live in the holy land. Most of the european jews have nothing to do with
Jacob and his children. They may have some percentage of right if they
have some of Jacob's blood, nothing more.
09 - You obviously know nothing about Scotland or our history to make
comments like this.
that Jesus was an Italian, at least that's how he's portrayed in pre
Renaissance Art. There is however ONE Jew in depicted. that of JEWDAS.
The first signs of Propaganda, propagated by the Romans. We shouldn't
take the Scottish tradition too seriously since they have never taken to
Asians either and most Protestants and Catholics think they're in
Northern Ireland for a battle
would have to be given back to the ancestors of the Canaanites. Jews,
much less Europeans, were neither the first nor the last people to rule
Give Scotland back to the English? That really is too stupid for words.
All Christian churches are founded on the Jewish religion. 'Person
speaking one of a group of related languages, presumably derived from a
common language, Semitic (see Semitic languages). The term came to
include Arabs, Akkadians, Canaanites, some Ethiopians, and Aramaean
tribes including Hebrews. Semitic tribes migrated from the Arabian
Peninsula, beginning c. 2500 BC, to the Mediterranean coast,
Mesopotamia, and the Nile River delta. In Phoenicia, they became
seafarers. In Mesopotamia, they blended with the civilization of Sumer.
The Hebrews settled at last with other Semites in Palestine.' From the
definition of Semite, you are using the term wrong if referring only to
entitled Jews. Nothing in the report refers to any other Semites.
THERE ARE OVER 7 MILLION JEWS IN ISRAEL !!!, more are coming !!!, and if
anti-semitism ( anti-Israel) will continue then most of the Diaspora
Jews will move to Israel, so tell the Church of Scotland to keep making
anti-jewish comments ... this will help for more Jews to come to Israel
Jesus was Jewish. He lived and died a Jew Only when his symbolism was
taken into the Greco- Roman world and morphed with local paganism, did
"Jesus" start becoming what you perceive him to be today. So
essentially Christians took a piece of the Jewish cake and denied from
where it originated.
whether Jews like it or not. Not everyone feels intimidated to agree
with all Israel says. Kudos for the Church of Scotland.
divine rights to land. What an incredibly irrelevant point. No one has a
divine right means Pals don't have the right either. Where does that
leave us? Then there are the legalities where Israel's right is compelling.
believes that it has right to decide on someone else rights. Laughable.
It doesn't take a lot of courage to speak against Israel in a country
with a tiny Jewish population. It's analogous to taking a stand against
the existence of God at an atheists/agnostics convention. I agree that
the concept of "divine right" to a territory is nonsense for
any people. What worries me is that the resolution's authors seem to be
under the gross misconception that the Jews' only claims to a national
home in the land, known both as the Land of Israel and Palestine, are
the Bible and the Holocaust. Most Jews talk about their historical and
cultural ties to the land. Religious Jews also add in the God-talk, but
that's not what it's all about. The Church of Scotland has built a straw
man argument and makes an offensive caricature of Jewish people's
aspirations and group identity in the process.
"Whether Jews like it of not..." How many Jews do you have as
close friends? The answer is either not many, or else you show an
impressive insensitivity to your friends by liberally generalizing about
them and their people. We should all take pause whenever someone talks
about "Jews" or "the Jews" and what "they"
want or are like. This is the stuff of racism. I would hope that we
would all also take pause when idiots talk about "Arabs" or
"the "Arabs" Ethnic, religious, and political communities
are complex and heterogenous social systems made up of individuals.
Denying this reality is the very definition of racism.
Church of Scotland is right - how can anyone think that the word of a
god, created by the human imagination, to not know how many thousand
years ago, may constitute property title? But the main question is not
this. Who would have thought, five or ten years ago, a statement like
this? Who have thought boycott resolutions were voted on by students in
American universities, one after another? It's the intransigence, the
fanaticism of Israeli who has been creating the breeding ground for all
this ferment. It is irrelevant that all this has not, as yet, practical
effect. What matters is the gradual loss of ideological dominance. And
this will certainly have practical effects in the future.
look into it... ask the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob if He is really
there... everything depends on this...
so if they think what God says is a figment of the human imagination
then they need to find another job
Yes, the notion of divine right is nothing less than silly. As to
Israel's fanaticism, it is exceeded geometrically by the fantacism of
its neighbours. I'm here now and see the way the Arabs live. Yes, they
live, for the most part, in their own communities where there are no
Jews out of Jewish choice but also out of Arab choice. And the same is
true vice versa. But there is great mobility for Arabs in this country,
more than they would have in any other Arab country, and talking to them
you can discern that they know it. Most Universities have rejected the
dementia offered up by the Arab world but numbers do make a difference
and the numbers of Arabs in this world exceed the number of Jews by over
100 times. Thankfully, Jewish productivity and intellectual output still
far exceed the Arab contribution. However, I would be delighted to see
the Arabs pick up where they left off a 1000 years ago and start
contributing to the world once again rather than destroying it.
or also for Scotts, Palestinians, Chinese, French and Germans?
(quote) "how can anyone think that the word of a god, created by
the human imagination, to not know how many thousand years ago, may
constitute property title"(end quote) Based on your argument, the
word of Jesus, which represents the guidance of this church, should be
also crazy to follow given its old age and its potential condition of
coming from human imagination...... This is not a very smart comment.
The Church of Scottland did not deny the Jews the right to have a state
in territories that were included in Mandatory palestine. I says Jews
have no exclusive rights to that land; and they are right! Historically,
Jews never ruled over the entire territory west of the Jordan River. Any
claim to the contrary is deceitful. Even the term Eretz Yisrael is
misleading as it has no historical antecedants and thus no meaning.
It belongs to Ireland
The report reads like it was written by a pal supporter. someone sold
their soul to the devil for this report. Good thing over a billion God
loving christians support Israel.
Levi Report! Set the record straight,
One surmises Her Majesty was not consulted and is NOT amused.
Any true follower of Christianity, knows the land of Israel belongs to
the Jews. Anything other than this comes from the evil one. Just because
this church of Scotland needs to do some research, before they make
these outrageous claims.
When the vast majority of Scots don't belong, because like most of
Europe they've come to understand that religion is nonsense, it
shouldn't surprise anyone that the people who stick around are cranks
and anti-Semites who are desperate for attention.
It is the same everywhere in the UK. People do not practice but that
doesn't mean they don't believe in God and in Scotland if they were
asked about their religion, they would probably say Church of Scotland.
They would also agree with the politics which say Jews should not have
privilege in the Holy Land.
they are co-religionists of descendents thereof
May be. But a lot of people who are not religious at all think the same
way about the Israel's arrogant behaviour. israel is not only arrogant
and opressor, but is also standing for the most stupid claim in the
whole human history.
Richard states that Scots have come to understand that religion is
nonsensem hence people who stick around are cranks and anti-semite??? So
naturally, when he sticks to religion claiming Palestine for Jews
according to the bible, then he himself is crank
Afterall, no one has a divine right to any territory.
so jesus christ was here, and he refused the title of ruler of the
world. so when he does come back again, he will refuse the title ruler
of the world once more. whether zionism is taking palestinian land or
not. jesus wont be a snobbish king who will slaughter gentiles or
Why should Jesus have the right to rule over the world when he returns?
His influence would probably be comparable to that of the pope or the
Dalai Lama: Many people would be interested in what he says and
voluntarily follow his teachings, but that would probably be it.
Surely, Christians do not have a divine and preferred claim to Europe.
And Muslims do not have any God-given claim over their lands. To argue
otherwise would be to deny the right of Jews to equal status as
citizens in most of the world.
you would have to read The Bible where G-d gave this land to the people
of Israel. whether you, and others, understand and accept this - or
not- you will, in time, come to know this.
Had it not been for the Israelites,Hebrews,or Jews, a vast majority of
Scots & others would still be swinging from one tree branch to
another,in search of bananas!. And by the way,Europe & the Christian
world pray to a JEW. Really you people make me laugh.
Do Christians get to raid BOTH states for free land?
israelis calll other jews a 'sect' just becaust they dont believe in
their occupaition and theft . The church of scotand is 100% right and
most scotish support them!
If Jews do not have the right to claim Isreal for their homeland,
certainly Scotts are out of luck claiming Scotland as their own.
Your comment is a non sens. The pseudo europeans jews who are coming and
stealing land from their legitimate inhabitants have no right to what
they claim. The true israelites have always been living in Palestine.
They even were the majority of Jerusalem's ctizens. Europeans, black
africans, indians, chineese, and others, even when they claim they are
jews have no right to this land.
Every permanent resident in Scotland is Scottish and all have equal
civil and political rights. Scotland is the Scottish homeland just as
Israel is the Israeli homeland. There are Jewish Scots but they are
exactly equal to everyone else. We do not have legally discriminatory
conditions on ethnic or religious grounds.
Scotland ? Where is Scotland !?
same old rubbish... should anyone have a critisism of israel they are
branded anti semites how silly and immature.. grow up, and face the
fact most countries do not accept the same views as yourself. I Live in
Scotland and am proud of our tradition of tolerance, so come on, come up
with something better than the tired old anti semite card.
Eaatern Europeans are not indigenous to the ME, no matter what tales
they tell themselves.
The Scots never left; the Jews did. In the next 1800 + years the Jews
title lapsed when other people moved in.
All of it is historically Jewish and under Islamic occupation.
However, is it really fair to take the largest extent as the measure of
Israel's size, given that it was achieved by conquest? By this logic,
Israel should be part of Italy.
Only the true israelites have the right to be in Palestine as citizens.
Not all jews are true israelites. The zionists are even atheists.
Precise what means being Jew, and what means being israelite. The you
can make your claim. By the way, this land belonged for thousands of
years ago to others, before the israelites. They have more right to
Do you have a point?
Israel, herself, EXCLUDED the WB, SInai, Jerusalem, and Gaza. The land
that is now Jordan and Lebanon belongs to Jordan and Lebanon. Heads UP!
This is 2013, not 2000 BCE.
You mean it is OK for the land that is now Jordan and Lebanon to belong
to them, but not Israel, Melissa: when was Jordan created by the British
?, when was Lebanon created by the French?, in 2000 BCE or in the 20th
I had a quick look. It seems that they are saying that Biblical claims
to the West Bank are not a justification for annexation. I have to agree.
The more Israel abuses its position as an occupier and oppresses the
Palestinian people, the more isolated Israel will become. This is a
trend being seen all over the world and the Church of Scotland is just
one of many organizations that are changing its stance. That is even a
trend that is happening in its staunchest ally, the USA. Unless the
people of Israel vote the hard right wing government out, they can
expect more and more people to turn against them.
Pray to a Jew on a stick, but reject the race. Next they will be
praying to father chrsitmas.
As an expat scottish Jew living in Israel, I am not surprised in the
least by this ignorant, one sided idiotic report....Question is? Who
wrote it...The right honourable minister Ahmad Muhammad from Banglasheilds?
which has been proven by many respected theologians, both Jews and
Christians, to violate both the Old and the New Testaments of the Bible.
