Meet the 'Christooza,' a mezuzah for Christians
Queens man is selling hollow plastic crosses containing prayers, modeled on the traditional Jewish one affixed to doorways.
The mezuzah – a piece of parchment inscribed with the Jewish prayer "Shema Yisrael" and contained in a case affixed on a doorway – is now being offered to Christians.
Henry Zabarsky, a Jewish financial adviser from Queens, has created the "Christooza," a hollow plastic cross modeled on the traditional mezuzah, but with Christian prayers placed inside.
According to a report in the New York Post, Zabarsky thought of the idea when he visited a Catholic client who had pictures of Jerusalem hanging everywhere.
He sells the Christoozas on his website for $20 a pop. If you want a custom blessing, you need to add another $5.
