For years, cystic fibrosis patients in Gaza were forced to journey great distances and spend long hours at checkpoints in order to receive proper medical care. Now many are being treated closer to home by a team of doctors and other medical staff secretly trained in Israel in a project jointly sponsored by Hadassah Medical Center and the Peres Center for Peace.
