Passover with KKL-JNF

Apiaries Across the Country

Apiaries open their doors to the public for a chance to meet beekeepers and their charges. Taste different types of honey and take part in a variety of workshops about the important role bees play in the environment. Participating apiaries include Ofir Apiary in Alon Hagalil, Kibbutz Yad Mordechai and the Porat Apiary in Ein Yahav, a moshav in the south near the border with Jordan; Pirhei Galil Beehive in Moshav Manot and Dvorat Hatavor in the Lower Galilee; and Lin Farm in Kfar Bilu. Biblical Museum of Natural History

Showcasing mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects featured in the Hebrew Bible, the museum also functions as a zoo, natural history museum and Torah education center. Yad Vashem

The world center for documentation, research, education and commemoration of the Holocaust and home to the Holocaust History Museum. HAIFA AND THE NORTH

Stone in the Galilee International Sculpture Festival

The annual event features specially commissioned sculptural works by 14 Israeli and international artists. In addition, Dutch artist Guido Verhoef will return this year and create a giant sculpture using 30,000 balloons.
