Tel Aviv Residents Hit the Frontline in the Annual Summer Water War

Women, the elderly, families, teens and mainly children get drenched from head to toe in water from the Rabin Square fountain.

In what has become a summer tradition over the past seven years, dozens of Tel Aviv residents gathered Friday at Rabin Square at 3pm and went to battle in the annual Water War.

No-one was left untouched: women, the elderly, families, teens and mainly children were drenched from head to toe in water from the Rabbin Square fountain.

The Water War takes place on a yearly basis on the first Friday of July.
