LOS ANGELES - Kevin Durant dropped in nine of his career-high 52 points, including the tie-breaking jumper, with 16 seconds left in overtime to lift the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder to a 117-114 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.
The reigning three-time league scoring champ shot 13-of-31 from the field, with five three-pointers and hit all 21 free throws to eclipse his previous high by one, as the Thunder won its sixth in a row and ended the Mavericks' season-high four-game streak.
Russell Westbrook finished with 31 points as the Thunder (32-8 ) improved its league-best record to 32-8 despite squandering a 19-point cushion.
Vince Carter scored a season-high 29 points off the bench, while Dirk Nowitzki and OJ Mayo added 18 apiece as the Mavericks (17-24 ) dropped to 1-8 in overtime affairs.
In other games:
* Italy's Marco Belinelli took a bounce pass from Carlos Boozer and sank a six-foot off-balance fadeaway jumper with 3.1 seconds left in overtime, sending the visiting Chicago Bulls to a dramatic 100-99 victory over the Boston Celtics.
Boozer collected 19 points and a season-high 20 rebounds. Richard Hamilton scored 20 for the Bulls, who have won eight of their last 11 contests.
Joakim Noah had 14 with 13 rebounds for Chicago, while Jimmy Butler netted six of his 13 in the overtime in place of forward Luol Deng, who left two minutes into the third quarter after aggravating a right hamstring.
Rajon Rondo poured in a season-high 30 points before fouling out with 76 seconds left in overtime, while Kevin Garnett had 16 for the Celtics, who fell for just the second time in the last eight outings.
* Frenchman Tony Parker scored 25 points, Tim Duncan had 24 with 10 boards and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Golden State Warriors for the 28th straight time at home since Febraury 14, 1997 with a 95-88 victory.
* Bradley Beal scored 23 points, John Wall had 14 with 12 assists and blocked Ty Lawson's potential game-tying layup in the final seconds, as the league-worst Washington Wizards (8-29 ) improved to 2-16 on the road after stunning the Denver Nuggets 112-108.
Lawson finished with 29 points for Denver, which dropped to 15-3 at home.
Elsewhere, the Brooklyn Nets clipped the visiting Atlanta Hawks 94-89; the Memphis Grizzlies roared past the visiting Sacramento Kings 85-69; the Indiana Pacers ran past the visiting Houston Rockets 105-95; the Philadelphia 76ers trimmed the visiting Toronto Raptors 108-101 in overtime; and the visiting Charlotte Bobcats bounced the Orlando Magic 106-100.
