The Kitty team, made up of Gaash Golf’s club professionals Basil Katz and Chris Ward, won the 2016 league final by defeating the No Name team, represented by Moshe Nessis and Eliezer Shkedi.

The format of the league was low ball/high ball pairs net, which was played over 18 holes. The final game was very close with Basil and Chris winning on the 18th hole.

While Ward and Katz were the only members of the Kitty team, the No Name team was made up of six players: Nessis, Shkedi, the late Moty Sela, Yosi Aroeti, Shlomo Mali and Meier Sheni. The third-place prizes went to the Weil Org team, which was made up of Steven Weil, Bradly Ellerine and Robert Hickenbotham.

There was also a better ball 75% handicap stableford competition held for the rest of the players, in which Gadi Iram and Yoni Idzhak captured first place ahead of Hugo Wainstein and Shmuel Almagor.

Club captain Avi Dagan and league director Yoni Idzhak presented the prizes for the 9-hole tournament.
