Maccabi Tel Aviv Player Takes Celebratory Goal Selfie

Israeli soccer player proves that Tel Aviv really is one of the 'selfiest' cities in the world.

Israel's soccer players are busy defending Tel Aviv's title as TIME Magazine's sixth 'selfiest' city.

Maccabi Tel Aviv's Eran Zahavi scored a hat-trick in Monday night's game against Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Maccabi won 3-2 against their long-time rivals.

After scoring his first goal in the 32nd minute , the 26-year-old ran the full length of the pitch in excitement, before borrowing a camera from someone at the side and taking a series of selfies.

He didn't even wait for the match to end. How 'selfie' is that?
