The giant social media site Facebook fell Thursday morning for about half an hour, Web users around the world reported.
According to downdetector.com, the technical difficulties started at 10:55 A.M. local Israel time, after which Facebook was completely inaccessible. The mobile app was down, too.
The company has not yet issued an official statement on Twitter or on its official blog, which also appeared to be down. The glitch seemed to be a broad problem with its servers.
Users who logged in received a blank page with the announcement: "Sorry, something went wrong."
The site returned at 11:24 A.M.
