Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to meet on Sunday in Qatar with Hamas politburo chief Khaled Meshal and Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, according to the Palestinian news agency Maan.
The leaders will reportedly discuss how obstacles to reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas can be overcome.
The two factions signed a reconciliation agreement in Cairo last year, according to which Palestinian parliamentary and presidential elections are supposed to be held in May.
Hamas has ruled the Gaza Strip since ousting Fatah from the coastal enclave in a 2007 coup. Fatah controls the West Bank.
Haniyeh is currently on a tour of Iran and Gulf states.
