Television reporter Amnon Abramowitz reached an agreement Thursday on his move to Channel Two. Abramowitz will serve as a weekday commentator on the TV station's daily news show. He will not appear on Channel Two's news magazine on Friday evenings.
Abramowitz resigned from Channel One at the beginning of the month on the backdrop of the crisis at the channel's news division and the ongoing political intervention in the content of the transmissions, reflected, inter alia, in the intention to team him up with a "balancing" commentator.
In light of the question marks hanging over the continued existence of Channel 10, Abramowitz opted for a position at Channel Two.
Abramowitz, who refused Thursday to comment on his pending move, will begin work at Channel Two next month.
