Reggaeton Star Wisin to Hit Tel Aviv in October

Wisin is credited with breaking Reggaeton into the mainstream

Reggaeton star Juan Luis Morera Luna, best-known by his stage name Wisin, is coming to Tel Aviv on October 31 where he will perform at the Menorah Mivtachim Arena.

Wisin has worked with artists including Enrique Iglesias, Nelly Furtado, Lenny Kravitz and Chris Brown, and is considered to be one of the most influential artists in the Latin-Caribbean music scene. Wisin, a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and record producer, has won both Latin and American Grammys, along with Latin Billboard Music Awards for both album and artist of the year in 2015.

He made his fame as part of the Wisin & Yandel duo for 15 years, selling over 3 million albums. The duo is considered to be one of the main reasons reggaeton broke into the mainstream, with their hits such as "Pegao," "Siguelo" and "Abusador."

Wisin released his first solo album, “El Sobreviviente” in 2004 and his second followed 10 years later.

His song “Adrenalina” with Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez became the World Cup's official song in Brazil  in 2014, reaching the number one spot on the Latin Billboard charts. It has been viewed over 680 million times on Youtube.

Tickets for Wisin will cost between 250-550 shekels ($70-150).
