Israel's firefighting services announced activities were back to normal on Monday, after eight days when fires raged across Israel and the West Bank. IN PHOTOS: Israel fire

The security establishment increasingly believes that several of the wildfires may have been politically motivated cases of arson and has arrested several suspects. The Israel Police is currently holding 30 people on suspicion of arson or incitement, but refuses to release details regarding the nature of the allegations on 13 of them.
