Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Iran mocks the Holocaust while preparing another one.

"Our problem with Iran," Netanyahu said, "is not only its aggressive policy in the region, but the values on which it is based – denying the Holocaust, mocking the Holocaust, and preparing another Holocaust," Netanyahu said ahead of Sunday's cabinet meeting.

"I spoke to Kerry and told him that all of the world's countries must condemn this," the prime minister added, after mentioning a conversation he had with the U.S. secretary of state on Saturday.

Netanyahu's remarks come as Iran was staging an international cartoon contest on the Holocaust.

Some 150 works from 50 countries are on display. The works mainly criticize what they consider the use of the Holocaust by Israel to distract from the Palestinian issue.
