American tycoon Donald Trump criticized the White House's treatment of Israel, saying, “There has never been a greater enemy to Israel than Barack Obama.”

Trump slammed the administration in an interview Saturday with former judge and prosecutor Jeanine Pirro on the show she hosts on Fox News, conservative website Breitbart reported.

Trump lamented the state of the U.S. economy, and then turned his attention to the country's diminished clout around the world. “We’re the policemen, but our leader is not respected and our country is no longer respected," he said. "We’re not a respected country.”

When the interview turned to Israel, Trump said, “Probably, maybe from the beginning, there has never been a greater enemy to Israel than Barack Obama. It’s incredible the way he treats them, the way he’s speaking to them. I think he treats our known enemies much better.”

Pirro also mentioned examples of the frayed ties between Israel and the White House, saying that U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice walked out ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech at the United Nations, and more recently that an unnamed administration official had described Netanyahu as “chickenshit” to The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg.

“Why would they call him that?” Pirro asked.

“Look, they don’t like him [Netanyahu] and they don’t like Israel," he said.

Obama is "the worst thing that has ever happened to Israel," he continued, adding, "Now what’s going to happen, is, the way it’s going Iran will have a nuclear weapon, and it’s very close. As soon as that happens, it’s a whole new ball game.”
