Apparently neurodegenerative diseases and extreme sports aren't mutually exclusive.

Felix Shlomovich was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, better known as Lou Gehrig's disease, roughly six years ago.

Despite the progressive and incurable nature of the disease, Felix, once a leading Israeli mountain climber, refuses to succumb to the devastating effects of the paralyzing disorder.
