Last update - 15:00 30/06/2008 Father headbutts Netanya headmistress at end-of-year event By Haaretz Service Tags: Netanya, school violence  The father of a student at Netanya's Moreshet Zevulun School Monday headbutted the school's headmistress at an end-of-year event. The man, a father of four, appeared to be angry over the school's treatment of his daughter. Only the support of teachers standing next to the headmistress prevented her from falling. She was taken to Laniado Hospital for treatment and was reported to be in stable condition. Advertisement School officials said the man had previously made a series of threats against the school's headmistress. According to teachers, the man threatened to set the school on fire following the attack and to lock the gates in order to stop them from preventing him from doing so. Officials said a few months earlier the father had attacked a school secretary by stabbing her near her eye with a pencil.
