Israeli businessman Noam Gottesman is carrying out negotiations over the sale of his London home, listed as the most expensive house in the U.K., at $232 million, according to a report in British newspaper The Times on Sunday.

The article reported that Gottesman's house, located in the Palace Green area near Kensington Palace and the Israeli embassy, covers an area of around 1,350 square meters, making the asking price of the house over $170,000 per square meter.

The potential buyer is expected to be Indian-British steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, considered the richest man in Britain.

The street where the house is located runs less than a kilometer and is known as "Billionaires' Row" for the large concentration of ultra-rich residents who call it home.

Gottesman is the CEO of GLG, an investments firm which according to their website, manages over $24 billion in customers' assets.

The Sunday Times recently put Gottesman on its richest people in Britain list, with a net worth estimated at $920 million.
