Gazans fear for their health as they turn to cooking oil to power cars

Limited fuel supplies in the Gaza Strip have led to the widespread use of a new substitute: cooking oil.

But the smell, the exhaust and health concerns have led to the rampant use of surgical masks in Gaza's streets.

For many, the new smell permeating the streets causes nausea, vomit and difficulty breathing. But most of all, Gazans fear the new commodity is cancerous.
