A 30-year-old man of a Druze suburb of Haifa was detained late Friday evening on suspicion of stabbing his wife, 30, leaving her moderately wounded.

The woman was rushed from her home in Usfiya to Haifa's Rambam hospital with several abdominal knife wounds. Police suspect her husband, who fled the scene, carried out the attack.

It is believed a domestic dispute led to the stab attack.
