Ivanka Trump visits Israel to scout property prospects

A former fashion model came to Israel this week with all the marks of a celebrity.

But despite the glamour that surrounds her name, Ivanka Trump arrived with a keen business sense and an eye for a good deal.

After closing a deal in Dubai, the daughter of Donald Trump came to Israel to gather information on investments for her father, a trip that could lead the world's most recognizable real estate tycoon to join a growing list of magnates buying a piece of the holy land.
