Barack Obama: We will keep Israel's security a priority

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has told Israeli television that Israel's security would remain a priority should he win the race to the White House.

I think that what people can be assured of is that we will keep Israel's security a priority," Obama told Channel 10.

He added: "The bond between the United States and Israel is unbreakable."

The Illinois Senator also said that he looked forward to a second visit to Israel, and that his first visit, in 2006, was "wonderful."
