Repo men suspected of beating Israeli Arab woman during repossession
By Eli Ashkenazi, Haaretz Correspondent
Tags: Police, Israel, Wadi Ara

Three repossession agents are suspected of having beating and lightly injuring an Israeli Arab woman in the Wadi Ara village of Ein al-Sahla while in the process of repossessing her property.

According to police Chief Superintendent Kobi Shabtai, the three acted against procedure and arrived at the family's home without coordinating with the police in advance. The family was home at the time and resisted the repossession, and a confrontation broke out, during which the woman was beaten with a stick. She was hospitalized and released soon thereafter.
